Rough weather has caused some delays in treatments, and overall lice levels have been low in both major markets Scotland and Norway. After some review the medium-term forward book and availability is tied up, potentially leaving some room for additional vessels to work the spot market.

In the medium term we expect to see more delousing vessels getting tied up on longer term charters which will naturally increase the rates in H1 2021. We attended Fish Pool ASA Christmas Webinar this morning! Some great insight into Salmon Prices and the future Supply/Demand outlook. Thank you Fish Pool for the fantastic presentation.

Overall Aquaculture shipping markets have been down and up recently, where we're seeing surprisingly little availability in all Aqua shipping segments at the moment. We expect producers to fix their future capacity earlier than in previous years.

Dedicated Delousing vessel are now facing tight supply as about 90% of market capacity has been fixed on short-med term contract. We can also see a longer period of delousing than last years Q3.

Avlusningsmarkedet har hatt en nedgang i September noe som indikerer en mer jevn markedsbalanse. I Skottland synker aktiviteten da redere venter på ny avlusnings-tonnasje, mens i Norge venter markedet på om nyere tonnasje vil bli etterspurt.

I Chile virker det som mangelen på avlusingsfartøy er stor, men kontrakter lar vente på seg på grunn av den pågående pandemien og høye smittetall. En annen faktor er jungelen av komplekse kabotasje reguleringer som virker å være en stor utfordring for mange redere.
