We were honoured to host Claire MacNamee, Head of Enterprise Engagement at Technological University Dublin and Creator and Project Director of TrailblazHER, for a thought provoking discussion in our office.

Claire shared her insights on the importance of gender equality, practical ways we can all contribute, and the tools and resources available to support meaningful action. A very special highlight of the event was a heartfelt speech from Claire’s daughter, Molly, which truly inspired everyone in attendance.

We were also delighted to welcome players from ucdladieshc, who joined us for this engaging session, and we extend our sincere thanks to the IWD Committee for helping make this event possible.

Crowe was delighted to attend the Irish Tax Institute’s annual dinner 2026 at the Clayton Hotel, Burlington Road.

The evening featured addresses from guest of honour, Tánaiste Simon Harris TD, and Institute president Shane Wallace.

It offered an excellent opportunity to connect with peers across the profession and reflect on the evolving landscape of business and taxation in Ireland.

For the final chapter in our International Women’s Day series, we turn to our Women in Consulting - and to the inspiring journey of Grainne Clarke, Director in our Consulting Department.

Grainne’s career journey has taken her across sectors, with the most recent years focused on health and social care, driven by her passion for meaningful public sector work and strong teams.

Her path began with a leap of faith. As a junior in a bank, she applied for an IT role she felt unqualified for. She got it, and it set her on a trajectory into project and change management. That moment taught her the importance of taking opportunities, even when they feel daunting. Sometimes others see potential we do not see in ourselves, and being seen matters.

When asked what advice she would give women progressing to senior roles, she is direct. Women do not need advice. They need opportunity. Organisations must provide an even playing field and promote talented women now.

As we continue our International Women’s Day series spotlighting women who move from conversation to commitment, we are proud to feature our Women in Audit, with Roseanna O'Hanlon, Audit Partner at Crowe.

Roseanna’s story is one of steady growth, meaningful guidance, and the power of having someone in your corner. Joining Crowe after completing her undergraduate degree in UCD, she began her journey as an audit junior - eager to learn, ready to take on challenges, and determined to grow. Through her training contract at Crowe, she gained diverse technical experience, learned how to lead small teams, took ownership of audits, progressed to manager, and ultimately appointed to audit partner in 2012.

She believes deeply in the value of mentorship and sees it as an essential tool to building strong, confident leaders. Roseanna is committed to providing and encouraging meaningful mentorship within Crowe. For Roseanna, mentorship is not just support - it’s a catalyst for growth, a confidence-builder, and a powerful way to create opportunities for the next generation of leaders.

Magdel’s path into corporate governance wasn’t typical - and that’s exactly what makes it powerful. As part of our International Women’s Day series, she shares how unexpected opportunities shaped her career.

She began in legal administration and progressed into corporate governance long before it became the strategic, in‑demand field it is today. Her path shows that growth is rarely linear, and that embracing the opportunities in front of you can lead to a fulfilling, purpose‑driven career.

She reflects on how she balances being a strong, decisive leader while staying deeply authentic to who she is. For her, leadership isn’t about embodying someone else’s definition of strength - it’s about aligning your actions with what you believe in and creating space for others to thrive with you.
