A proud moment for Campion Insurance, our interfirm team has won our first ever All Ireland Hurling title 🏆

In an outstanding final, the team delivered a dominant performance, securing a 4-31 to 1-16 win over Glanua (Galway) and finishing the season on a high.

This achievement reflects months of commitment and preparation. A lot of work happens behind the scenes to make moments like this possible: from organising fixtures and training to supporting the team throughout the year.

A special mention to Sean Moloughney for his leadership and dedication as manager, alongside Niall Madden, whose efforts in organising matches and logistics since last November played a key role. Martin Goldsboro provided guidance both on and off the pitch, while Eanna Ryan led the team brilliantly as captain throughout the season.

A fantastic achievement and a well-deserved result for everyone involved.

⚽Collingwood Cup 2026 – Final Results!⚽

Congratulations to Maynooth University on retaining the Collingwood Cup, sealing victory over University of Limerick with 2 second half goals.

Thanks to Mark Nolan ( Examiner), John Hudson (Irish Independent) and Tom Clancy (Limerick Leader) for covering the tournament.

Delighted to announce Alex Sheerin of Maynooth University won the inaugural Golden Boot.

Semi-Final Day at the Collingwood Cup sponsored by Campion Insurance

After an action-packed day of quarter finals, the highlight being Maynooth’s dramatic 3–2 win over DCU and UL’s penalty shoot-out victory over UCD, the semi-final line-up is set. UL and Maynooth are joined by UCC who defeated UCG and Queen’s University Belfast who beat Trinity College Dublin.

The semi-finals take place today at 2:15pm.
