We are very proud of Gearoid Fitzgerald, Arachas Managing Director Munster, and Seán Óg Ó hAilpín, Cork hurling legend and Arachas brand ambassador, who are taking part in Shine A Light in aid of Focus Ireland tonight.

The sleep out in Cork City Gaol will bring people together for one powerful night to help end homelessness and support children, families and individuals who need a safe place to call home.

Over 5,600 children are without a home - a number often spoken about as if it were just a statistic.

It isn’t.

It represents a generation growing up in crisis. It means a childhood measured, not in birthdays, but the number of emergency accommodation rooms you’ve passed through.

Shine A Light is a national response to a crisis of national scale. The funds raised will provide practical, life-changing support, helping children and families access safe spaces, dedicated support workers, and the stability they deserve.

Last week, Arachas hosted "An Evening with Conor Niland" at the Sunday's Well Boating & Tennis Club, Cork for an audience of club members, clients, and industry partners.

Former Irish international tennis player, Conor Niland, offered rare insights into high-performance sports psychology and the harsh realities of the professional circuit.

Moderated by Sean Buggy, international tennis umpire and representative of Arachas Financial Planning, the conversation explored Conor going professional, his experience at major tournaments and as well as the publication of his award-winning book, The Racket.

We would like to thank the members and staff at Sunday's Well for such a warm welcome and we look future to events at the clubhouse.

A highlight of our Rory's Miles 2 Mayo Challenge experience was the Team Arachas Relay, as our colleagues came out in force every day to take part in the challenge.

Day 4 of the Rory's Miles 2 Mayo Challenge in aid of Cancer Fund for Children had many magical moments on the journey from Celbridge to Kildare Town.

We were delighted to capture Michael, a Cancer Fund for Children service user, who received a special guard of honour from his school on the road to Naas.

We were also joined by Senan, whose family have availed of the charity's services. He was absolutely thrilled to walk alongside Rory, for some miles along the route.

It's moments like these that make this challenge so special and gives the walkers the motivation to keep clocking up the miles.

Day 3 - The Aviva Stadium -> Keoghs Farm✅

Yesterday, the walkers completed Day 3 of the Rory's Miles 2 Mayo Challenge in aid of Cancer Fund for Children.

It was an amazing day overall, with many special moments throughout the journey, from a breakfast event in the Aviva Stadium to an emotional ending at the finish line in Keoghs Farm. We were delighted to be joined by many famous faces along the way.

It's been an incredible start to the Rory's Miles 2 Mayo Challenge in aid of Cancer Fund for Children as over the weekend the group completed the first two legs, walking from Derry City and Limavady on Saturday and from Bangor to The Affidea Stadium, Belfast yesterday.

Day 3 kicked off with an excellent breakfast event in The Aviva Stadium this morning with guests gaining detailed insight into the charity and the challenge.

Afterwards, the group departed the Aviva to start their journey to today's destination at Keogh's Farm. They were joined by some celebrity guests and Arachas staff for the first 10km of the route which brought a nice new energy for the main group.

We were proud to see so many Arachas colleagues involved from our Dublin region and to see our staff in our Santry office come out to cheer on the walkers. Along with this, there was a poignant moment when our partners, Shelbourne Football Club, showed their support for the cause at their base in Tolka Park.

The group are currently on the road to Keogh's Farm as they look to complete 1/3 of the overall challenge.

On Wednesday, the 9th of September, we had our official launch for Rory’s Miles 2 Mayo in our Sandyford office. Our colleagues were walking, rowing, and cycling all day to raise funds for an amazing organisation, Cancer Fund for Children.

We were delighted to be joined by Bernadette McGarvey 💛 from who shared some lovely words about Arachas’ partnership with the charity.

Our CEO, Joey Wynne also spoke to us about the importance of getting behind this challenge to give one final push as Daisy Lodge continues construction in Cong, Co. Mayo
