Arachas Craftinsure sponsored the recent IWAI Shannon Boat Rally, which is one of the most prestigious and well-attended boating events on Ireland’s inland waterways. The event brings boaters of all types, from all over Ireland and beyond, together to participate in a nine-day-long fun event for families and friends on the River Shannon.

One of the most popular aspects of the sponsorship included the Arachas Rib Challenge which featured over 40 juveniles taking part in a race.

This Sunday, all roads lead to Croke Park as Galway and Limerick go head-to-head in the All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship Final.

With Arachas offices in both counties, there has been plenty of friendly rivalry this week as our Galway and Limerick colleagues proudly swapped business attire for county colours to show where their loyalties lie.

Arachas was very proud to sponsor the Royal Cork Yacht Club Ladies Lunch during Cork Week through our specialist marine insurance brand Craftinsure.

It was an excellent day as the sun shone on Cork harbour and the Royal Cork Yacht Club looked superb. Most importantly the lunch raised vital funds for RNLI Crosshaven Lifeboat Station. The RNLI's volunteer crews provide an invaluable lifesaving service to those who enjoy our coastline and waterways, making it a fitting charity partner for an event that celebrates the sailing community.

Following the acquisition of Craftinsure last year, we are committed to continuing its long-standing support of Ireland's boating and sailing community. Sponsorships such as this reflect our dedication to the clubs, events and organisations that help the sport thrive.

It was a pleasure for some of our team to join sailors, supporters and local businesses for such a worthwhile event. Congratulations to the organisers on another successful Cork Week and thank you to everyone who contributed to making the day such a great success.

It also reflects the club's continued commitment to growing the women's and girls' game.
