As we look back on last month, we had a powerful reminder of who we are as an organisation, a team that shows up with purpose, energy and heart for our communities.

We were delighted to be headline sponsor of The Summit, hosted by The Wheel, engaging with leaders and organisations who drive meaningful social impact across Ireland. Our team met with so many brilliant Charities and Not-for-Profit organisations that do incredible work in our communities.

We then took part in The LauraLynn – Ireland’s Children’s Hospice 24‑Hour Challenge, with colleagues fundraising and taking part in the challenge throughout the full 24 hours. The commitment was extraordinary, even our Sandyford office became a hub of activity, with treadmills running all day in solidarity.

Next, we were honoured to support the Calcutta Run as official event partner, joining more than 1,500 legal professionals, alongside our ambassadors Sonia O’Sullivan and David Matthews, to raise essential funds for The Hope Foundation and Dublin Simon Community.

And to close out the month, we proudly sponsored the Run Against Cancer 2026 in Ballylanders, Co. Limerick, standing with a community united in strength and support.

We remain committed to supporting the charities and communities that matter deeply to our people, and we’ll continue to show up, together, wherever we can make a difference.

We are delighted to announce the appointment of Robert Tyrrell as Chief Trading Officer of Arachas Broking.

Robert brings extensive experience across commercial lines, personal lines, and financial services, having held a number of senior leadership roles throughout his career in the insurance sector.

In his new role, he will oversee Arachas’ broking leadership teams across its corporate, commercial, personal and financial services divisions nationwide.

Arachas was pleased to attend the Irish Pharmacy Union (IPU) conference over the weekend in support of the pharmacy sector.

Ronan Norton and Terry Duffy from Arachas attended alongside Sean Buggy from Arachas Employee Benefits and met with pharmacists and IPU members from across the country as well as Minister Jennifer Carroll MacNeill TD.

The IPU conference provides an important opportunity to engage with the sector and to demonstrate Arachas’ continued support for pharmacists and the vital role they play in communities across Ireland.

This year’s Rock Against Homelessness concerts, sponsored by Arachas, have helped to raise €50,000 for Focus Ireland. A series of events took place in March and featured an incredible array of musicians and bands including Sharon Shannon, Kila and Garron Noone.

Arachas Chief Business Officer, Julie Galbraith was in attendance for the cheque handover presentation to Pat Dennigan, CEO of Focus Ireland by Sheena Peirse, CEO of Mediahuis Ireland.

This year’s series of concerts for Rock Against Homelessness has raised €50,000 for Focus Ireland.
