Ollie is out of the office for a few days…
He gets up at 6am much to my delight because the beach is near! He has more equipment with him that an Olympian 🙈

Just watching JLo Halftime on Netflix…
Jesus there are women in my industry who find it offensive if men ask them to take notes at meetings!
This womens work ethic and resilience is incredible. Some of the earlier interviews are really offensive…men well past their prime snubbing her. Hustlers is a fantastic film. I didn’t want to watch this -I’m 50 too and look 20 year older than JLo (apart from a bit plainer 🙈) but fair play to her…

Has anyone actually boldly thrown away their mobile phone?

I know solicitors never give out mobile numbers so do not have the weekend texts and whats apps...

I feel two phones is more hassle...

But I am starting to hate my whole job and its never been better ...

I wonder is it the constant connection to it by phone...

Any books anyone could receommend?

Anyone using two phones and love it?

Or am I now a grumpy who needs to retire?

There is a word that makes me extremely angry when used in the wrong context and that is a legacy...

I see so many property people talk about leaving a legacy and what they will leave are assets...

Assets are not a legacy...

I was at a funeral Saturday of an amazing lady who gave me my first decent sized contract when I set up my own business...

And I read a lovely verse on her booklet on just this subject...

She will indeed leave a legacy...

Wells funded in Africa...children apart from her own put through college...an enormous wealth of business acumen passed to her staff and colleagues and always always donating and sorting out problems for people ...

We can all be quite sure that the people actually leaving a legacy are too busy doing things to talk about leaving a legacy...

Assets to me are not a legacy...and I know some will say maybe if they leave the money to charity but if you couldn't make the effort while alive is it really enough....

I hope at least some of my contacts are on the same page on this?

A little verse to ponder for us all...
