Thinking about buying a home… but worried maternity leave might hold you back?

The short answer?
It is possible.. but it does take a bit more planning.

Lenders aren’t focused on maternity leave itself, what they ARE focused on is whether you can comfortably meet repayments, both during and after your leave.

That usually means having the right documentation in place (like confirmation of your return to work and salary), and a clear picture of your income over that period.
