We at IDLF are saddened to hear of the passing of former Taoiseach John Bruton. John was appointed to the Board of the IDLF in 2015, when we were first established. He was as inspiring in business as he was in politics, and we were very fortunate to benefit from his extensive knowledge, experience and guidance. A man of the highest integrity, he will be sorely missed. We send our heartfelt condolences to John’s wife, Finola and to his family and friends.

The Irish Movie, The Banshees of Inisherin was the big winner at the Golden Globes in Beverly Hills earlier this week, winning Best Picture – Musical or Comedy, Best Actor for Colin Farrell and Best Screenplay for writer-director Martin McDonagh.
