Our Lady Crowned Credit Union is a financial co-operative that provides savings and loan facilities for the benefit of its members. It is owned and controlled by these members, each of whom has one vote, regardless of how much or how little they have saved. We are an independent entity serving members who reside and/or work in our Common Bond. Members savings provide the money to lend to other members. Surplus money that is generated is returned to our members as a dividend and/ or used to continually expand and improve the services we offer to members. Our Head office is located in Mayfield and we operate a sub office in Little Island.

Community Chest 2026

OLCCU launches its fifth Community Chest

Our Lady Crowned Credit Union has announced its fifth Community Chest, with a €10,000 windfall for local groups and charities in its area.

To date, the credit union has given over €35,000 to local worthy causes, and this year it has announced a special category for groups undertaking initiatives in sustainability.

Applications are welcome from groups, charities and not-for-profits operating in the areas of Mayfield, Montenotte, Ballyvolane, Tivoli, Glanmire, Whites Cross, Little Island, Knockraha, Carrignavar and Watergrasshill who have a project that needs support.

The Community Chest will be open for applications until 27 November 2026. Application forms are available in either office, online or by email at [email protected].

Winners will be notified in January 2027.
