Taking place on 16th and 17th October at Ballymaloe House Hotel Hotel, Cork, this fantastic two-day event brings together some of Ireland’s most promising emerging entrepreneurs with experienced business leaders and industry experts.

A fantastic turnout at our Quintas Capital EIIS Investor Event last Thursday at The Leinster.

We were delighted to welcome a full house in Dublin, with both new and existing investors joining us for an informative and engaging evening.

The evening began with food, drinks and networking, followed by an insightful panel discussion featuring our CEO Kevin Canning, Paul Overy of Ask About Wealth and Dave O’Brien of Xeinadin.

Moderated by our Investment Manager, Tim O’Callaghan, the discussion covered a range of topics, including the tax advantages of EIIS and its role in portfolio diversification, investment opportunities qualifying for 50% EIIS tax relief, with a particular focus on physical assets and our social infrastructure investment strategy, as well as an overview of our investment approach and some of the upcoming opportunities being considered for the Quintas EIIS Fund 2026.

The panel was followed by an excellent Q&A session, with plenty of thoughtful questions and engagement from attendees.

Our Investment Manager, Gary Duffy, recently returned to his alma mater, University of Galway, to speak to a full room of final-year Entrepreneurial Finance students.

Having studied finance at the University himself, it was a great opportunity for Gary to return and share insights from his career to date, his role at Quintas Capital, and his experience working across private market investments.

Gary spoke about Quintas Capital’s investment activity, the role private capital can play in supporting the growth of Irish businesses, and the wider investment landscape in Ireland.

It was encouraging to see the level of engagement in the room, with some great questions from the students on private markets, investing and career opportunities within the industry.

Private market investing continues to become more prominent in Ireland as investors look beyond traditional asset classes and consider alternative investment opportunities, making it an exciting area for the next generation of finance professionals to learn about.

A big thank you to everyone who joined us for our Quintas EIIS Investor Event in Cork last Thursday at The Dean Hotel.

It was great to welcome current and prospective investors for an evening of discussion around EIIS, the Irish investment landscape and the upcoming Quintas EIIS Fund 2026.

We had some excellent questions from the audience to close out the panel discussion, and we hope everyone who attended found the evening informative and beneficial.

𝗔𝗡𝗡𝗢𝗨𝗡𝗖𝗘𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧

We are delighted to announce that Quintas Capital has completed an investment of over €15 million in Zenith Childcare, supporting the continued growth of one of Ireland’s leading operators of purpose-built early years childcare facilities.

Founded by Charlene Roche and Stephen Moore in 2024, Zenith Childcare currently operates five services across Cork and Limerick with four further services due to open across Ireland in early 2027. Its early growth was funded by Quintas Capital’s EIIS fund.

The investment, completed through our Managed Equity platform, led by Kevin MacSweeny, and funded predominantly by Irish investors, will provide significant growth capital to support Zenith’s continued expansion across Ireland.

The funding will support Zenith grow from 450+ childcare places today to more than 1,500 places over the coming years.

Are you a landlord looking for ways to improve cashflow and reduce your income tax liability?

For landlords in Ireland, rental income can come with a significant tax burden. Unlike earned income, rental profits do not qualify for pension contribution relief, which can limit the tax-planning options available.

This is where the Employment Investment Incentive Scheme (EIIS) may offer an alternative.
