It was fantastic to see our Managed Equity portfolio company, Flowers.ie, showcase its brand at Taste of Dublin last week, one of Ireland's premier food, drink and lifestyle events.

Visitors had the opportunity to experience Flowers.ie's seasonal peony arrangements, premium floral designs and luxury gifting offering, while also taking part in exclusive competitions and activations throughout the event.

Since Quintas Capital's recent investment in Flowers.ie, we have been delighted to support the continued growth of a business that has become one of Ireland's leading online florists.

Through its focus on quality, innovation and customer experience, Flowers.ie continues to strengthen its position in the Irish gifting market.
Congratulations to the https://eu1.hubs.ly/H0wmQxm0 team on a successful event, and we look forward to supporting the next stage of their growth journey.

More investors are becoming aware of the tax relief benefits available through EIIS, and we're seeing that reflected in the level of interest coming through our Expression of Interest form on the Quintas Capital website.

For sole traders and self-employed professionals in particular, EIIS can offer an opportunity to support Irish businesses while potentially improving cash flow through tax relief.

In this article, we explore how EIIS investing can work for investors and the factors worth considering before investing.

Last week, we were delighted to attend and support another fantastic event hosted by The Sporting Club Ireland welcoming Harry Redknapp to Dublin for an engaging afternoon of stories, insights and conversation at Clontarf Castle Hotel

As proud sponsors of The Sporting Club Ireland, we value the opportunity to support a community that brings together business leaders, entrepreneurs and professionals from across Ireland to build meaningful connections and share experiences.

As our CEO, Kevin Canning, puts it:
"The Sporting Club Ireland has access to some of the biggest names in international sport, and what's really impressive is the community that's grown around it. It has become the ideal place for SME Ireland to have conversations that matter, and for me personally, it brings together the two things I love most: business and sport."

A huge congratulations to Mark Brandon, Aoife Keehan and the wider Sporting Club team for delivering another outstanding event. It was also wonderful to see support for Jack and Jill Children's Foundation a charity that continues to make a meaningful difference to families across Ireland.

Thank you to everyone involved in making the day such a success. We look forward to supporting many more great events and conversations in the months ahead.

As Liam Mcgrath and Evan Cahill Murphy from BSC Finance University College Cork, enter the final month of their placement with us at Quintas Capital, it provides a valuable opportunity to reflect on their experiences and achievements to date.

Both have made a meaningful contribution to the team during their time with us, demonstrating enthusiasm, professionalism and a strong willingness to learn. It has been particularly rewarding to observe their growing confidence, capability and understanding of the private markets industry over recent months.

We invite you to read their reflections below, where they share insights from their internship journey and the key lessons they have gained along the way. While we prepare to say goodbye to Liam and Evan next month, we are also looking forward to welcoming our new cohort of interns, who will begin their placements with Quintas Capital on the 6th of July.

In Part 4 of our latest Investing Through a Holding Company series, Quintas Capital CEO Kevin Canning explores an important and often overlooked topic: How Private Credit Is Taxed Within an Irish Holding Company.

As more business owners look beyond traditional investment options, understanding the tax treatment of private credit investments can play a key role in developing a more efficient long-term wealth strategy. The article examines some of the key considerations for those seeking to maximise the potential of their corporate structure while diversifying their investment portfolio.

Whether you are reviewing your investment strategy, planning for future growth, or exploring alternative investment opportunities, this article provides valuable insights into an increasingly relevant area of wealth management.
