We were very saddened to hear of the passing of Kevin Condon of Kevin Condon Financial Brokers.

Kevin was a highly respected member of the financial services community and someone who made a lasting contribution to our industry over many years.

One of the questions I get asked all the time is...

"Do I actually need life cover?"

My answer is usually another question.

Who would be financially affected if you weren't here tomorrow?

If the answer is "no one", then maybe you don't need it.

But if you've a partner, children, a mortgage or someone who depends on your income, then life cover isn't really about you.

It's about making sure the people you care about aren't left worrying about money at the worst possible time.

For some families, it means clearing the mortgage.

For others, it's making sure the children can stay in their home, pay for college or simply keep life as normal as possible.

Every family is different, which is why there isn't a one size fits all answer.

Just one little reminder from all of us at DKFS…

Please take extra care over the next few days.

🚗 The roads are busier than usual with people heading off on day trips and holidays.

🌊 If you’re spending time at the beach, river, lake or pool, keep a close eye on little ones and never underestimate the water. It only takes a second for things to change.

Whether you’re having a BBQ, heading for a swim or just enjoying an ice cream in the sunshine, we hope it’s full of great memories and everyone gets home safely.
