The 2026 Credit Union Art Competition officially opens for entries 🎨

This year’s theme is “World of Colour” 🌈

The competition is open in two categories - General Category and Additional Needs (AN) Category.
Each category includes the following age groups (based on age as of 31 December 2026):
7 years and under
8 – 10 years inclusive
11 – 13 years inclusive
14 – 17 years inclusive
18 years and over (Adult)

Entries must be hand-drawn or painted, as digital artwork is not eligible. Local winners will progress to regional and national stages of the competition.

Entry forms and full competition details are available on our website loughcu.ie with submissions being accepted in either of our branches (Bandon Road or Togher)

The closing date for entries is Friday the 23rd of October

To accommodate the influx of applications being received following the CAO results, we are extending the deadline to submit applications for our Student Bursary until the 1st of October!

STUDENT BURSARY 2026 🥳

We are very excited to launch our brand new Lough CU Student Bursary for 2026!

This bursary is available for all members progressing on to further education following the Leaving Cert 2026.
We have THREE separate awards to present - meaning that three different members will each receive €1500 towards their next steps!

Applications are now being accepted, deadline the 31st of August with the winners announced on 1st of September.
Application forms are available on our website and in both of our branches. Terms and conditions apply and can be found on the application forms.
