Today, we’re celebrating the joy, companionship and unconditional love that dogs bring to our lives.

From much-loved family pets to dogs patiently waiting for their forever homes, every dog has something special to offer.

Today is also a wonderful reminder of the importance of responsible dog ownership and of the incredible difference adoption can make.

Thinking of travelling abroad with your dog? 🐶✈️ Here's some useful info. before you travel 🙂

• Microchip first, then get your dog vaccinated against rabies once they’re at least 12 weeks old. Wait at least 21 days after primary vaccination before travelling.

• Use a valid EU Pet Passport (from EU/NI residents) or an Animal Health Certificate (if travelling from non EU countries or GB). British pet passports are no longer valid for EU entry after Brexit.

• When entering Ireland (or some specific regions), get a tapeworm treatment 1–5 days prior to arrival which must be recorded in the pet passport or health certificate.

• Travel documents must be original and accompany your pet. If travelling from a non EU country, entry is only allowed via designated ports and you must pre arrange a compliance check.

• Different rules apply depending on where you’re travelling from or to—EU, GB, or other regions.

• It’s up to the airline/ferry operator to allow pets in cabins or cargo; always check their rules.

This team meeting was particularly special with colleagues joining from across the country.
It was a fantastic opportunity to step away from our day-to-day roles, catch up in person and reconnect with team members we don’t get to see on a regular basis . The day was filled with great conversations, plenty of laughs, and a reminder of the people who make our organisation such a great place to work.

Building strong relationships across teams and locations is invaluable and spending time together helps strengthen those connections even further.

A big thank you to everyone who joined and helped make it such an enjoyable meet up - looking forward to the next one.
