Clones Credit Union Clones Credit Union is a local, not for profit financial institution. We specialise in providing a safe place for savings and loans in our community.

Established in 1959, Clones Credit Union is proud of its heritage and continues to be governed by our members and voluntary Board of Directors. A credit union is a group of people who save together and lend to each other at a fair and reasonable rate of interest. We offer members the chance to have control over their own finances by making their own savings work for them. Clones Credit Union is ow

ned by the members — the people who save and borrow with it — people like you. When you become a member and start saving with Clones Credit Union you will have access to fair and reasonable rates on savings and loans. Your savings contribute to your credit union’s loan fund. So your savings are helping other members. Members like you. Clones Credit Union exists only to serve its members — not to profit from their needs. Surplus income generated is returned to the members by way of a dividend and/or is directed to improved or additional services required by the members. Even when it is not possible to pay a dividend to individual members Clones Credit Union pays a social dividend by its sponsorship of and involvement in local clubs, societies and events. We were deeply saddened to hear of the passing of our former manager, Brendan Kelly.

Brendan dedicated an incredible 30 years of service to Clones Credit Union and was a valued and respected leader of our team. During those many years, Brendan made a lasting contribution to our community and touched the lives of many colleagues, members, and friends.

We are truly grateful for the dedication, commitment, and friendship that Brendan gave throughout his long service with us and in the many years since his retirement.

We extend our deepest sympathy to Brendan’s family and loved ones at this very sad time.

May Brendan Rest in Peace.
