Golo.ie is a recently established trading name of Gollogly Insurances Ltd. Gollogly Insurances are a long established Insurance Broker, serving customers from all over Ireland and in particular in their home town of Carrickmacross, Co. The family Business was set up in 1986 by Charlie Gollogly, Charlie a former staff member of Irish Life decided dip his toes into the broker market. Along with the

support of his wife Sheila Gollogly, Charlie developed a very successful Business serving his clients of Co. Monaghan, Cavan and further. Emma Gollogly. Charlie’s Daughter after many years’ experience working in the Financial Services Sector in Dublin joined the firm in 2004. Emma developed the Mortgage side of the business and enjoyed this for the BOOM Years! In late 2007 the firm could see a definite decline in Mortgage Applications and with their expertise and quick thinking they decided to expand the business further and increase the volume of General Insurance (Motor, Home, Business Insurance) they catered for. Today the firm has a very extensive portfolio of business, and they offer a wide range of Insurance products for the Home and Business markets. The company felt that their name Gollogly Insurances Ltd although easy for themselves to pronounce and spell, it was very difficult for their customer. So the name GOLO.ie was suggested by the firms trusted mentor Fern Ross, from Effista.com. We liked it so much we went with it! Golo.ie offers a selection of Ecommerce policies such as Travel Insurance, Pet Insurance, Wedding Insurance and lots more. However we do feel for the more important packages we do need to speak to the customer to receive full clarity on their request. There is nothing worse than clicking QUOTE ONLINE NOW, completing all the endless information required and then receiving a screen message to say, WE WILL BE IN TOUCH SHORTLY.
