O Connells Gfc were crowned Division 3 champions after holding off the challenge of Naomh Malachi in their final game on Friday night at The Grove Castlebellingham, which sees them promoted to Intermediate League for the 2027 season.

Connect Credit Union have a long history of partnering and supporting O’Connells GFC.

Huge congratulations to the players, management and background team and wishing the club the very best in their upcoming Championship campaign.

Introducing our new-look Visa Debit card to all our members who currently have a Current Account with us.

As part of our commitment to enhancing your banking experience, we are transitioning our current account debit cards from Mastercard to Visa. All current account holders will receive a new Visa Debit card soon. The new look current account debit card is powered by Visa and comes with trusted benefits and enhanced features. The card will be issued to all existing and new members of the credit union's current account.

What do I need to do?
You will receive everything you need via a card mailer, which will be delivered to your doorstep; no action is required before that. Your existing Mastercard will remain active until you activate your new Visa Debit card.

What a day in Termonfeckin.

The sun was out for the Termonfeckin Half Marathon and 4 Mile, and the whole event ran like clockwork. Water stations at every turn and a brilliant atmosphere from start to finish.

A huge thank you to St Fechins GAA and all the volunteers who looked after everyone on the day. It doesn’t happen without you.
