If you are part of a local group, club or organisation our Community Fund is still open with a close date of Friday the 11th of September 2026 at 4:30pm.

If you have a particular project coming up and are looking for some financial assistance, then our Community Fund is for you! Applications are available at https://ballyconnellcu.ie/news/community-fund-2026 , where you can fill out an online application or download and print one to drop into any one of our 4 branches.

Or collect an application form in any of our branches! We can't wait to hear all about your projects! 💫

Our Community Fund is now open to all Community Groups/Clubs/Schools and not for profit organisations within our common bond. If you have a particular project coming up and are looking for some financial assistance, then our Community Fund is for you. Applications are available online on our News section of www.ballyconnellcu.ie, where you can fill out an online application or download and print one to drop into any one of our 4 branches. We also have applications available in our offices should you wish to pop in and collect one.

***Community Fund 2026***

As we celebrate our third year, we are delighted to launch our Community Fund, created to support the incredible work of local voluntary and community groups. This initiative reflects our ongoing commitment to giving back and investing in the people and organisations that make our area a better place to live.
We are looking forward to receiving applications from groups delivering projects that strengthen community spirit, promote inclusion, support wellbeing, encourage education, protect the environment, and create lasting positive change.

We can't wait to see the inspiring ideas and initiatives that will help our community continue to thrive. Our fund this year is €30,000 and while the individual amounts awarded may not be massive, the aim of this fund is to provide funding to as many deserving groups as possible .
