MIBI figures show there were over 211,000 uninsured or unregistered vehicles on Irish roads in 2025, that’s around 1 in every 15 vehicles.

Hugh’s answer was simple, the earlier the better.

People in their 20s often think it is too soon, but even small regular contributions can make a difference over time.

If you are starting in your 40s or 50s, it is not too late, but you may need to think about making bigger contributions to help build towards the retirement you want.
