Hi everyone, it would be great to get this playgroup back up and running again. The volunteers who used to deal with the admin (opening, closing, collecting the money etc.) aree no longer able to do it as their children are now all at school. If there's anyone with young children who feels they might be able to take on this role and get the playgroup up and running again, please get in touch. It requires very little work but you would need to be available most Wednesday mornings to facilitate the running of the group. It was a fabulous group pre-covid and it would be fantastic to see it up and running again 😀

Hi to all our members out there! Playgroup is starting back on the 4th September 9.30-11.30. This playgroup has been going for a long time and relies on volunteer parents to open up each week and do the toast, fruit and snacks for the kids. It’s always been a popular playgroup attracting between 5-10 or more families each week. We have been lucky to have a team or 4-5 volunteers sharing the load. Unfortunately in the past 6 months 4 of us have got new jobs meaning we cannot do Wednesday’s anymore and Edel who has been involved and had a huge role within the playgroup for the past 5 years is moving on as all of her kids are pre school and school age now.

If anyone out there has an interest in getting involved and help out it’s a fab little playgroup in a lovely space with great toys and equipment. Otherwise we will need to close the doors which would be a great loss to the community. Please come along in September and get involved. Anyone can pm us on the page for more info.

our terrier Hugo, bolted this morning in Boley when the thunder started. Chipped but isn’t wearing his collar.
