Abbeyfeale Credit Union is a local, not for profit financial institution. We specialise in providing Your savings contribute to your credit union’s loan fund.

We specialise in providing a safe place for savings and loans in our community. Established in 1973 Abbeyfeale Credit Union is proud of its heritage and continues to be governed by our members and voluntary Board of Directors. A credit union is a group of people who save together and lend to each other at a fair and reasonable rate of interest. We offer members the chance to have control over thei

r own finances by making their own savings work for them. Abbeyfeale Credit Union is owned by the members — the people who save and borrow with it — people like you. So your savings are helping other members. Members like you. Abbeyfeale Credit Union exists only to serve its members — not to profit from their needs. Surplus income generated is returned to the members by way of a dividend and/or is directed to improved or additional services required by the members. Now that the Leaving Cert is over, are you interested in a college scholarship worth €5000?
If you're from Athea, Abbeyfeale, Mountcollins, Tournafulla or Templeglantine, the Danagher McGrath Trust has a number of Scholarships ranging from a minimum of €2000 to a maximum of €5000 that might suit you.
Applications forms are available from secondary schools in Abbeyfeale, Newcastle West and Tarbert or through Purtill Woulfe Murphy Solicitors in the square (068 31106) or email [email protected] or [email protected] .
Closing date is Friday 28th of August (T's & C's apply).
