These Feet Were Made for Traveling (And That’s Just What They’ll Do!)
Y’all, for the THIRD time this week, someone has complimented my “pretty feet.” 👀 At this point, I’m starting to think I missed my calling... anyone got directions to OnlyFans? 😂
But for real though, looking down at these toes has me reflecting. My ankles don’t scream when I take those first steps out of bed anymore. My toes are finally spreading out instead of being cramped together like they’re on the subway at rush hour. I can even lift just my big toes while keeping the others down—a weird flex, literally, but I’m proud of this progress!
So what changed besides retiring early and relocating to Bali? (Yeah, I just casually dropped that flex 💅🏽)
• Most days I’m either barefoot or in my trusty Birkenstocks. Fun foot fact: Going barefoot or wearing proper supportive footwear like Birkenstocks actually strengthens your foot muscles and improves balance! Your feet have 26 bones, 33 joints, and over 100 muscles/tendons/ligaments that NEED that freedom.
• I get 2-3 massages WEEKLY. They cost 1/4 of what I paid in the US. Who could possibly say no to that? Regular foot massages improve circulation, reduce inflammation, and can even help realign those tiny foot bones!
• My StretchR Assisted Therapist visits 3 times a week for less than what one dinner out used to cost me back home. Make it make sense!
• Between aerial yoga, mobility classes, and vinyasa flow, my feet are getting the kind of workout they never knew they needed. These practices help strengthen the arches of your feet and improve ankle stability!
So yeah, my feet ARE pretty cute now. Still waiting on those OnlyFans directions though... 😜
For real though—if you’re wondering how I was able to retire early, move abroad, live this barefoot luxury life WITHOUT financial stress, let’s connect! I help Black women get their money right so they can experience the transformative power of travel too.
PS: Gotta go back to my toe flexibility training while I wait on those directions😳😜. This little piggy went to market, but the rest of these piggies are still learning their independence! 🦶🏽✨
