🔥🌿 Thermal behaviour of jute fiber for fire-resistant concrete
A new study in JTAC study investigates the pyrolysis behavior of jute fiber using non-isothermal thermogravimetric analysis and multiple isoconversional kinetic methods. The results indicate average activation energy of 134.4 kJ mol⁻¹ and a dominant decomposition stage. The identified kinetic model and thermodynamic parameters provide valuable data for understanding jute fiber thermal stability and supporting its use in mitigating explosive spalling in high-temperature concrete applications. 🔬
