Last night was truly special.
As it does every year at the end of January, the Burns Supper brought together tradition, community, and shared values. It was an evening that will stay with me for a long time.
During the evening, I was deeply honoured to receive the Sponsor of the Year award. Some recognitions don’t feel like awards—they feel like moments of quiet reflection.
This journey never began as a strategy or a campaign. It began in 2013, during one of the most difficult periods of my life, when our oldest son, Ádám, was born with a serious heart condition and later underwent three heart surgeries. Those years taught us how deeply we depend on the dedication and humanity of others.
After his second operation, I began to think about gratitude—not as a feeling, but as responsibility. I realised that everyday professional decisions could carry real meaning.
Since 2016, every insurance policy concluded through my network has included a commitment: a defined percentage is transferred monthly to the foundation. Over time, even as a small company, this resulted in more than 5 million HUF in support. In 2017, Generali also joined this effort with an additional 5 million HUF.
In 2025, together with RBIF, we raised 2.5 million HUF, including support for IT equipment at Tűzoltó utca Hospital—something that would not have been possible without my clients.
At the heart of this journey stands Dougie Arnott . From the very first moment we met, he was open, supportive, and genuinely focused on impact rather than formality. His trust, vision, and personal commitment are what give this foundation its strength, and this collaboration simply would not exist without him.
And that is what matters most. This recognition is not about a single evening or a single person. It belongs to everyone who has placed their trust in me as their insurance partner and believes that professional work and social responsibility can go hand in hand.
I was also honoured to receive personal congratulations from the British Ambassador, Mr. Justin McKenzie Smith, which made the evening even more meaningful.
I am deeply grateful to the Burns Association, to Douglas Arnott and theRobert Burns International Foundation team, and to my clients. I accept this recognition with pride and responsibility, and I am committed to continuing this journey together.
