As we approach BestInvest 2026, and while the programme is being finalised ahead of this year’s nominations announcement, we warmly invite you to revisit the highlights of last year’s event.

Organised by the Croatian Private Equity and Venture Capital Association (CVCA), BestInvest returns for its sixth year on:

We are thrilled to announce that Tariq Fancy, former Chief Investment Officer for Sustainable Investing at BlackRock, Lecturer at Stanford Graduate School of Business, and founder of the global nonprofit Rumie, will deliver the opening keynote at SustainInvest 2025, organised by the Croatian Private Equity and Venture Capital Association (CVCA).
🎙️ “Rethinking sustainability in volatile markets”
Tariq brings a uniquely broad perspective. He began his career working on IPOs for companies like Google and Amazon and went on to lead investment strategies at CPPIB and serve as the youngest partner at a New York-based private equity firm. At BlackRock, he played a central role in shaping the firm’s ESG direction, before challenging the industry's practices in his widely discussed essay The Secret Diary of a Sustainable Investor.
As founder of Rumie, he has brought digital microlearning to communities in over 150 countries. Today, he shares these insights with future leaders as a lecturer at Stanford GSB.
