🚀 Big congratulations to our investee company, Genesis Space Flight Laboratories (GSFL), on their recent milestone!

Europe’s space industry is booming—and now Croatia is making real strides. GSFL, based in Čakovec, Croatia, has successfully built and launched a microsatellite into orbit. More than 90% of the prototype was assembled locally, and it carried cutting-edge micro-laboratory capabilities for studying the effects of microgravity and radiation — potentially contributing to breakthroughs in medicine and long-term space research.

At Fil Rouge Capital, our slogan is “Capital for the Bold” — and GSFL embodies that spirit: bold innovation, operational excellence, and building global-scale ambitions from Croatia. We’re proud to support them on this journey toward redefining what’s possible in European space tech.

(BOLD WALKS #1) We At Fil Rouge Capital recently decided we won't invite you for endless events and beers because we want to keep you fit!
So, instead, we are inviting you all to our first ; a networking event where instead of drinking and eating, we take a short hike to Medvegrad castle, you workout, and network before your workday and then go back to what you need to do to grow your company!

Departure: 6.30 am from Šestinski Lagvić parking lot, FRC pays for breakfast at 7.30 am at NUP Caffe!
This is a once-a-month event, so join us on the 19th of April for our first !

[WE ASKED OUR STARTUPS THEIR HONEST OPINION] We recently run a survey among our VC founders, asking them one simple and very direct question; on a scale of one to ten, how likely is it that you would recommend Fil Rouge Capital to someone who is looking for an investment?

The survey was anonymous so our founders had all the liberty of speaking freely about what they think we are doing great, and what areas they felt we could still use for some improvement. And the responses took us by surprise because we honestly could not wish for better and more realistic reviews, so we want to use this opportunity to thank our founders who participated and to promise we will continue to set the bar pretty high when it comes to offering value beyond money to our partners.
