A worthy winner of her category in the 2015 World Superyacht Awards, POLARIS I is a fully custom motor yacht built to the very highest European standards by arguably the best custom shipyard in Italy.
Originally specified by her first and only Owner to an exceptionally high level and with an incredibly detailed and luxurious interior, she is now offered to the market in turnkey condition. She completed her 5-year special surveys during the winter 2019-20, and is EU VAT fully paid. Yachts simply do not get more turnkey than this.
Described by her Designer Enrico Gobbi as “a yacht with elegant lines and a winning layout… really the perfect union between style and functionality’’, POLARIS I has simply stunning lines and will turn heads in every port she visits. Among POLARIS I’s long list of interior features are a stunning Swarovski spiral staircase by Crystal Caviar featuring changeable mood lighting, a handmade mosaic and a self-playing piano.
Her exterior decks comprise various alfresco dining lounging areas and a vast sundeck built between the two forward sides of the superstructure in the bows, guaranteeing maximum privacy and magnificent views but also home to a 3.5 metre (12’) pool with its own waterfall. On top of that POLARIS I is fitted with an adjustable hard top which allows for much required shading.
Only ever used privately to date, POLARIS I was however built to full commercial compliance, and she could very easily become a sought-after charter yacht, offering a very flexible layout ideal for charter, with accommodation for up to 12 guests in 6 beautifully appointed cabins, something unusual for a yacht under 500 GT. POLARIS I is one of the very few recently built, pedigree yachts offered seriously for sale by a motivated seller in immaculate condition and with no expense spared.

After an outfitting period that lasted just over 12 months, the highly-anticipated 142m Lürssen project Opus launched outside Bremen today. Opus is the first vessel to have been launched from the builder’s newly upgraded floating shed at its facility in Vegasack.
The complete design of the project is the work of Nuvolari Lenard from Italy, the same studio behind the two other Lürssen projects Quottrelle (2013) and Testarossa (2022). Project Opus is managed by owner representatives Moran Yacht & Ship who is overseeing the entire construction process. The yacht is the largest project ever sold by the company.
Built to PYC standards, Opus can accommodate up to 36 guests in 20 cabins with luxury guests areas spread across the yacht's six decks. "She is feature-rich with high-end amenities to delight and cater to every imaginable whim," commented

Opus’ naval-inspired bow shape and bridge deck overhangs lend the yacht an aggressive demeanour when viewed from ahead, with an elaborate mast design that carries all the necessary communication and navigational equipment she will need on her travels. The sleek aft-sloping superstructure elegantly hides the yacht's spacious 9,250 gross tonnes.
On bridge deck level, a large helicopter landing deck aft with fold-down side platforms provide shelter for the yacht’s helicopter that can be stowed away in a retractable hangar that slides neatly into the superstructure when not in use.
A large sports and diving centre on the lower deck, oversized swimming pool on the main deck and a fleet of custom tenders are just some of the other features on board this impressive vessel.
Upon completion of her sea trials, Opus will be handed over to her owner later this year.

110m Kiwa superyacht concept by Isaac Burrough
Amsterdam-based designer Isaac Burrough revealed his latest design project today inspired by the Māori guardian of the ocean. Named Kiwa, the 110-metre concept puts a strong focus on sustainability, with an energy-efficient setup and low-volume design to help lower Kiwa’s footprint wherever she goes.
A hybrid propulsion system allows Kiwa to cruise in an Electric-only mode in order to explore sensitive marine environments, leaving only her wake behind. 200 square metres of solar panels on the forward superstructure provides enough power for the crew’s daily energy usage and the hotel load on board. Kiwa’s slim hull design that only measures 15.5 metres across along with a relatively low volume-to-length ratio makes this yacht more economical to propel at higher speeds.
“The intention for Kiwa was to design a yacht that is both modern and elegant," comments her designer. "Her sleek silhouette combined with curvaceous surfaces give grace despite her exploration capabilities. A yacht that will look sophisticated whether cruising the Mediterranean or the Arctic.”

Another exterior highlight is the glass-bottom pool that forms the centrepiece on the expansive main deck aft. On the lower deck, light from the glass pool above fills the full-beam beach club where guests can relax on built-in sun loungers that overlook the massive swim platform. A landing pad on the foredeck can accommodate Kiwa’s H145 helicopter, further extending the adventure possibilities of this sleek explorer yacht.

e explorer yacht is the flagship in the brand's new SeaXplorer line of adventure-ready luxury vessels which was first announced in 2015. The yacht was moved to Damen Yachting's City facility where final outfitting will take place and where she will be on display at the company's Private View event in September.📷
La Datcha is the design work of Azure Yacht Design & Naval Architecture who worked together with Damen Yachting's engineering team on the development of the project. Built for autonomous cruising to all four corners of the globe with a Polar Code compliant hull, the SeaXplorer 77 is equipped with an impressive list of exhibition-grade features.
La Datcha is capable of receiving two helicopters on her expansive aft deck, both of which can be safely stored below deck in a dedicated hangar. She also carries her own submersible along with a fleet of tenders and toys suitable for tropical and arctic environments. Divers on board will be able to make use of La Datcha's fully-equipped dive centre which comes with its own decompression chamber.
Inside, the yacht's interior is designed to accommodate up to 12 guests in six staterooms including two master cabins and an equally-impressive VIP suite.

Italian yard Cantiere delle Marche has revealed a new range of explorer yachts fronted by the 42.58 metre EXP 42 model.
Penned by Francesco Paszkowski, the yacht will be built from a steel hull and light aluminium superstructure, with exterior lines of an “elegant, awe-inspiring beauty”.
With an 8.6 metre beam and robust displacement hull, the yacht is described as “imposing, bold and distinctive” by the yard.
Exterior deck spaces are plentiful, with pools on both the sun and main decks aft. The large cockpit is surrounded by fold down balconies while the upper saloon features a “bright and airy veranda”. The tender and Jet Skis are stored on the main deck forward while a large lazarette holds numerous water toys. Alternatively, this area can be converted into a gym if the owner desires.
The interior layout is described as “highly customisable” to each owner’s tastes and needs. A number of layouts are available, including a six guest cabin version intended for charter. All guest suites are of the same size, with four VIP cabins on the main deck and two on the lower deck.
A more traditional layout is also available, which places the large owner’s apartment forward of the main deck. The four guest suites are located on the lower deck alongside the “immense” crew quarters.
The six cabin version sees the large galley located on the lower deck, while the traditional layout places it on the main deck. Ample storage is found throughout the boat to facilitate long periods of time at sea.
Vasco Buonpensiere, CdM’s sales and marketing director, said the model offered “the best of two worlds," allowing owners to "cruise around the world comfortably and safely and in style.”
He added: “An explorer yacht isn’t about its shape, it’s about its reliability, its range, its storage capacity and its ability to face any weather condition in comfort and safety,”
In terms of performance, twin Caterpillar C32 Acert and 60000-litre fuel tanks would allow the EXP42 to reach a top speed of 14 knots, with a range of 5000 nautical miles at 10 knots.

Tankoa has released details of their latest concept: the 45-metre and 405 GT T450. The Italian shipyard worked together with designer Giorgio Cassetta to cleverly devised a layout with space to accommodate up to 12 guests in six staterooms, including a full-beam owner’s stateroom, a VIP suite on the main deck forward and four en-suite cabins on the lower deck.“When Tankoa asked us to prepare a proposal for the new T450, our instinct was to go through our past experience with yachts of similar and larger volume to come up with a precise vision of what had to be in the design,” says Giorgio Cassetta. “The yacht packs some amazing real estate and amenities while presenting an elegant styling that is intentionally free of any useless decoration. The interior design enjoys ample uninterrupted spaces, warmed by the usage of marine materials and earthy hues. The construction criteria and rich specification will make the T450 a truly unique offer in this size range.Built in steel and aluminium, the family-focussed yacht features an exterior design with bold, vertical architectural superstructure and window shapes that is balanced by clean horizontal lines.“Building on the extraordinary success of our 50-metre platform with Bintador and Vertige already delivered and two more in build, the T450 confirms Tankoa’s drive to build yachts below 500GT that are designed with a big boat mentality and quality,” says Giuseppe Mazza, Tankoa Sales Manager. “This new 45-metre model has been designed to provide maximum flexibility, and in terms of interior and exterior space it feels like a much larger vessel,” he adds.Inside, an open-plan dining room and main saloon with full-height glazing overlooks the aft deck, which functions as an open-air beach club with a central glass-fronted pool flanked by staircases down to the water-level swim platform. Owners are able to opt for one of the many alternative layout solutions, such as aft-facing seating on the lower level and a large bar unit on the upper level.

And by hosting them at our yard, we can ensure maximum comfort, safety and privacy with a very limited number of VIP guests invited.”
