Today it is either difficult to imagine or even infeasible to have a content buyer and a content seller at the same time. Sometimes only one of the parties is content, but most frequently both are not pleased. Mutual satisfaction is quite possible and it is the guiding principle of the project Mandarinet- mandarin network. The fruit producer is family Vuletić (OPG Vuletić Stipe) which cultiv
ates almost all citrus fruit in its orchards in Opuzen. The majority is taken up by mandarin trees but there are also lemon, clementine and orange trees as well as several kiwifruit vines. The producer delivers the best citrus fruit directly from the orchard to the buyer's table as soon as possible which guarantees freshness and quality. A direct trade guarantees a satisfactory price for both parties. There is no unnecessary and harmful treatment of the fruits after the picking; the fruits as well as the rind are instantly ready to be consumed (which is not usually the case). Simplicity and speed of the entire process, freshness of the product, a fair and direct relationship between buyers and the producer are the basic characteristics of this project. A satisfied buyer and a satisfied producer (who is also a salesperson) are a guarantee of a quality relationship which becomes more than just a process of buying and selling.
Kako imati zadovoljnog kupca i zadovoljnog proizvođača u istoj priči danas je ili teško zamislivo ili neizvedivo. Ponekad je zadovoljna tek jedna strana, a najčešće su nezadovoljne obje. Obostrano zadovoljstvo je itekako moguće te je ono nit vodilja projektu Mandarinet - mreža mandarina. Proizvođač je OPG (obiteljsko poljoprivredno gospodarstvo) Vuletić Stipe koji u svojim voćnjacima u Opuzenu ima gotovo sve vrste agruma; najvećim dijelom mandarina, ali isto tako i limuna, klementina i naranči te par stabala kivija. Proizvođač dostavlja najbolje agrume izravno iz voćnjaka do stola kupca u najkraćem vremenskom roku što jamči svježinu i kvalitetu. Obavlja se izravna trgovina čime je cijena zadovoljavajuća za obje strane. Nema nepotrebnog i štetnog tretiranja plodova nakon berbe nego je plod odmah spreman za konzumaciju kao i kora (što obično nije slučaj). Jednostavnost i brzina cijelog procesa, svježina proizvoda, korektan i izravan odnos kupac - proizvođač osnovne su značajke ovog projekta. Zadovoljan kupac i zadovoljan proizvođač (koji je ujedno i prodavač) jamac su kvalitetnog odnosa koji izrasta u više od samog procesa kupovine/prodaje.
