Today was very busy day at RACVIAC 🕦. Alongside the Conference on Countering the Financing of Terrorism, RACVIAC also welcomed atendees of the Defence Diplomacy Course, accompanied by Course Leader COL Marijana Pleša-Čadonić.

🟩 Today marks the opening of the two-day conference “Countering the Financing of Terrorism” at RACVIAC – Centre for Security Cooperation.

Discussions will focus on key strategic developments and international standards, 💸 emerging threats such as the use of cryptocurrencies, online platforms and informal financial networks, as well as the misuse of non-profit organizations. 💵 💶 Participants will also exchange practical experience on financial investigations, inter-agency cooperation between police, prosecutors and FIUs, and the use of financial intelligence in counter-terrorism work.

RACVIAC Director, Ambassador Miroslav Šćepanović, paid a courtesy call to the Croatian Minister of Foreign and European Affairs, Mr Gordan Grlić Radman on Friday, 15 May 2026.

The meeting provided an opportunity to discuss continued cooperation and RACVIAC role in promoting regional security dialogue and partnerships.
