💡 El BCIE participó en el Foro de Energía organizado por la Misión de Estados Unidos ante la OEA en Washington, un espacio enfocado en la seguridad energética, la integración regional y la cooperación en el hemisferio.

En el panel de bancos multilaterales, presentó su estrategia para el financiamiento del sector energético, destacando su rol como socio clave para impulsar proyectos, movilizar recursos y conectar la demanda energética con capital, tecnología y conocimiento internacional.

🌎 Asimismo, resaltó los avances en la integración energética regional mediante iniciativas como el Sistema de Interconexión Eléctrica de los Países de América Central (SIEPAC).

💡 The CABEI participated in the Energy Forum organized by the Mission of the United States to the OAS in Washington, an event focused on energy security, regional integration, and cooperation across the Western Hemisphere.

In the panel of multilateral development banks, it presented its strategy for financing the energy sector, highlighting its role as a key partner in mobilizing resources, structuring projects, and connecting energy demand with international capital, technology, and knowledge.

El BCIE y United Kingdom Export Finance (UKEF) sostuvieron una reunión de alto nivel para explorar nuevas sinergias y oportunidades de colaboración en los países miembros del BCIE. 🤝🌎

Durante el encuentro, se abordaron mecanismos para impulsar proyectos de alto impacto en sectores estratégicos, combinando la sólida posición financiera y el amplio conocimiento regional del BCIE con las soluciones de financiamiento de UKEF.

Asimismo, se destacaron oportunidades para fortalecer la participación de empresas británicas en la región a través de alianzas estratégicas y estructuras de financiamiento innovadoras que contribuyan al desarrollo sostenible y al crecimiento económico de nuestros países miembros.

Hoy, la construcción de su nueva escuela vuelve a levantar esperanza para toda una comunidad que sueña con un futuro mejor desde la educación. Como para Kristel Marín, para quien esta obra significa la oportunidad de que sus tres hijos puedan completar su primaria en un espacio digno, seguro y moderno.

📚PROERI avanza a paso firme en todo Costa Rica, impulsando obras que fortalecen la seguridad, la resiliencia y la calidad de vida de miles de personas.

🌱 La modernización de la Escuela Nacional de Agricultura avanza en El Salvador.

Con la participación del director por El Salvador, Alejandro Zelaya, equipos del BCIE, la ENA y el MOPT realizaron una visita técnica como parte del seguimiento a la renovación de cinco edificios principales de este instituto especializado.

El BCIE apoya esta transformación con un financiamiento de US$7.5 millones que beneficiará a más de 1,000 estudiantes, padres y madres de familia, docentes y empleados.

🌱 The modernization of the National School of Agriculture is moving forward in El Salvador.

With the participation of the Country Director for El Salvador, Alejandro Zelaya, teams from CABEI, ENA, and MOPT conducted a technical visit as part of the monitoring of the renovation of five main buildings at this specialized institute.

CABEI is supporting this transformation with financing of US$7.5 million that will benefit more than 1,000 students, parents, teachers, and employees.

🇨🇷 La Presidente Ejecutiva del BCIE, Gisela Sánchez, y el Director por Costa Rica ante el BCIE, Erwen Masís, con la participación del Directorio ante el banco, sostuvieron un encuentro con la Presidente de la República de Costa Rica, Laura Fernández Delgado, en el marco del Almuerzo Ejecutivo “Construyendo Alianzas para el Desarrollo de Costa Rica”, en el que participaron ministros de Estado, autoridades de instituciones autónomas, miembros del Directorio y funcionarios del BCIE.

Durante la jornada se reafirmó el compromiso conjunto de continuar impulsando proyectos estratégicos orientados al desarrollo sostenible, la modernización y el bienestar del país. Asimismo, se intercambiaron perspectivas sobre iniciativas vinculadas a infraestructura, sostenibilidad, conectividad y movilidad, destacando la importancia del trabajo conjunto para continuar generando resultados concretos en beneficio de la población.

🇨🇷 CABEI Executive President Gisela Sánchez and the Director for Costa Rica at CABEI, Erwen Masís, with members of the Bank’s Board of Directors, held a meeting with the President of the Republic of Costa Rica, Laura Fernández Delgado, as part of the Executive Luncheon “Building Alliances for the Development of Costa Rica,” which was attended by ministers of state, officials from autonomous institutions, members of the Board of Directors, and CABEI employees.

During the event, the joint commitment to continue promoting strategic projects aimed at sustainable development, modernization, and the well-being of the country was reaffirmed. Additionally, perspectives were exchanged on initiatives related to infrastructure, sustainability, connectivity, and mobility, highlighting the importance of working together to continue generating concrete results for the benefit of the population.
