We are pleased to share that our Chair, Richard Wo, and Director, Daniel Tse, recently represented the Hong Kong Securities Association Limited at a pivotal meeting hosted by the Financial Services Development Council (FSDC) with a high-level financial delegation from Uzbekistan on 08-Sep-2026.
The delegation, which included leaders from the National Association of Investment Institutions of the Republic of Uzbekistan (NAII UZ), engaged in fruitful exchanges with representatives from Hong Kong's securities and asset management community. The discussions centred on capital market development, investment opportunities, and the immense potential for future collaboration between our two markets .
Hong Kong's unique strengths as an international fundraising hub were a key focus of the dialogue. Our robust international investor base, deep offshore RMB liquidity, and sophisticated risk management capabilities position us perfectly to support Uzbekistan's capital-raising ambitions and facilitate greater connectivity between regional capital markets .
As an Association, we are committed to playing an active role in bridging our markets and driving forward this new frontier of cross-border investment. Thank you to the FSDC for bringing together the key stakeholders from the Chinese Securities Association of Hong Kong, Institute of Securities Dealers, Hong Kong Investment Funds Association, and Private Wealth Management Association (PWMA) to make this important meeting a success.
