This Chinese New Year, our management team wanted to celebrate in a way that truly reflected that belief — by bringing colleagues and their families together and recognising the dedication, passion, and hard work that shape our organisation.

Last week, that vision came to life as we held the New World Fun Fair 2026, transforming our workplace into a lively and colourful fairground. The event showcased the creativity and teamwork of colleagues across the Group, who designed, decorated, and brought character to every booth — from nostalgic games to delicious treats. Their enthusiasm turned the space into a warm and joyful community gathering.

We were especially delighted to welcome the friends and families of our colleagues, offering them a glimpse into our culture and the energy that drives us. The laughter, connection, and shared memories throughout the day were a powerful reminder of the relationships that strengthen who we are as a team.

Investing in our people has always been central to New World’s commitment — reflected in our development, wellbeing, and engagement initiatives under the SV2030+ sustainability goals. The success of the Fun Fair is a testament to that commitment and to the passion of the colleagues who make our workplace thrive.

Exciting times at New World HQ2!

Our Social Hub at HQ2 has been transformed into an Olympic Games replay centre, where our artisans can come together during lunch to cheer on their favourite athletes, building community and celebrating our shared passion for sports.

Our next-gen workplace in Kowloon West is about more than just work. It's designed to foster collaboration and connection, and we're thrilled to see our artisans enjoying its amenities.

Looking forward to more exciting Olympic moments and seeing smiles on our people's faces.

We are delighted to welcome 120 high-potential Artisans from Hong Kong and the Mainland, who have recently joined the "2024 New World Group High Potential Development Programme". These talented professionals were selected through a robust assessment process, where they demonstrated exceptional ability, career aspirations, ambition and passion.

Throughout the HiPo Development Programme, we aim to identify and nurture the next-gen leaders to build a strong leadership pipeline for the growth and sustainability of New World Group. The programme is not a classroom-based training but a dynamic platform that encourages our HiPos to engage in a wide range of group-based and individual learning activities. It is designed to unleash their potential as they are tasked to proactively leverage their strengths, expertise and professional knowledge to grow and shine. As they learn from their mentors to embrace the Founder’s Mentality, they will also be transformed into visionary leaders through tailored career development plan, bringing valuable contributions to the development of New World Group.

New World Group Artisan Enchantment Award Ceremony was a resounding success! We were honoured that top management joined the event to present the awards to our exceptional Artisans.

Highlights of the event included the presentation of the Long Service Awards, where we expressed our heartfelt gratitude for the devotion of our Artisans who have been with us for decades. These individuals have demonstrated unwavering commitment and have played a crucial role in the growth and success of New World over the years. It was truly touching to hear the stories shared by the awardees, especially those who have dedicated 40 years of their hard work to New World. The presence of families added to the joy and celebration of the event, as they shared in our appreciation for the accomplishments of their loved ones.

We also had the privilege of handing out the Artisan Awards: Culture Carriers, Frontline Elite, Visionary Leadership, and Impactful Team Project. These awards recognised individuals who consistently exceeded expectations, demonstrated excellence in their work, and inspired others with their remarkable abilities and perseverance.

Our colleagues recently celebrated the Easter season with an "EGGCITING" adventure at the Chill Kids Club, an exceptional indoor playground nestled within the captivating 11 SKIES. The themed play zones provided the perfect setting for our participating colleagues and their children to indulge in the heaps of holiday fun in a STEAM-inspired Learn & Play environment. In addition, through bringing their family to the remarkable 11 SKIES project, our colleagues had the opportunity to share the fruits of their hard work and dedication with their loved ones.
