Asia’s first spot bitcoin and ether ETFs had a mixed start in Hong Kong, signaling cautious investor interest in cryptocurrency ETFs in the region. Despite this, they marked a significant launch just months after similar U.S. ETFs. Hong Kong’s stance as a digital asset hub contrasts with mainland China’s crypto ban. They world doesn’t fully understand what’s happening yet.

But they will.

No one knows where this is all going.

Any new technology is meet with uncertainty and skepticism.

There’s unlimited uses for NFT technology beyond art, that we can’t even imagine right now.

When the markets are down people feel burned and they turn away from the markets. In my opinion that is the wrong approach. If you know that you are INVESTING in an asset with great fundamentals and the value is not reflected in the current price you should take low market prices as a buying opportunity.

Don’t go all in.

Use a little known method called Dollar Cost Averaging where you purchase small amounts at set time intervals. For Bitcoin I like a WEEKLY purchase.

This takes advantage of downturns and lowers the pain you feel psychologically when price drops.

You know that this week you’re getting a better deal than last week.

Not only that but your average buying cost are likely to be much lower than if you went all in at one time.

It’s been proven to beat trying to time the market for the best time to buy.

Break your monthly savings/ investments into weeks and set automatic purchases.

The current financial system is not designed for many to succeed. They want us all working minimum wage job, watching Netflix and distracted from what’s actually happening. Income inequality is not an accident that just happened. It’s intentional and on purpose.

How do you win when they reduce the time and energy you have spent at work, by printing money whenever they feel like it? Inflation is a tax.

Money printing is Corporate welfare.

They privatize the gains.

And socialize the loses.

A wicked game where we are left holding the bag.

The poorest people get hit the worse.

Opt out.

Play a different game.

And for the first time in human history you can.

Buy some Bitcoin. It will make you watch it and understand.

Is your country really free? Bitcoin is ..

OPEN to the public and built by community.

Has rules with NO RULERS.

It’s BORDERLESS. Not tied to any country, flag or politics. Truly global money.

It’s PERMISSION-LESS. You don’t have to ask for permission from anyone to use it.

It’s DECENTRALIZED meaning there is no single point of power or single point of failure making it extremely robust and impossible to stop.

It’s CENSORSHIP RESISTANT, it’s difficult for any government or authority to prevent one person from sending another person money because of their beliefs or politics.

It’s UNCONFISCATABLE, no one can take your Bitcoin without the keys. Not the government, not criminals.

It’s SOVEREIGN, you have complete control over your own money. It’s your property and no one has dominion over it but it.

So…if all those things sound good to you….and your country is scared of Bitcoin…

Goldman is the first major U.S. bank to trade crypto over the counter, CNBC was first to report. The bank traded a bitcoin-linked instrument called a non-deliverable option with crypto merchant bank Galaxy Digital, the firms said.

The move is seen as a notable step in the development of crypto markets for institutional investors. Compared with the exchange-based CME Group bitcoin products Goldman began trading last year, the bank is taking on greater risk by acting as a principal in the transactions, according to the firms.

“This trade represents the first step that banks have taken to offer direct, customizable exposures to the crypto market on behalf of their clients,” said Galaxy co-President Damien Vanderwilt.

TIME Magazine has chosen Vitalik Buterin for the cover of its first-ever fully decentralized magazine. Best known as the co-founder of Ethereum, Buterin is arguably the most influential person in crypto today.

Ethereum’s native currency Ether is currently the second biggest cryptocurrency behind Bitcoin, with a trillion-dollar ecosystem rivaling the likes of Visa in transaction volume. Leveraging blockchain technology, Ethereum is paving the way for a new open-source decentralized internet that is known today as Web3.

In the TIME cover story titled The Prince of Crypto Has Concerns, Vitalik Buterin expresses a “mixture of pride and dread” at his creation. While Buterin sees the transformative power of Ethereum as a way to launch all sorts of sociopolitical reform such as fairer voting systems, urban planning, and universal basic income, the decentralized nature of the platform has also allowed for it to be used as an instrument for greed and other vices.

Buterin warns about the danger of overeager investors and the sky-high transaction fees. “The peril is you have these $3 million monkeys and it becomes a different kind of gambling,” says Buterin referring to Bored Ape Yacht Club. While this is its first full magazine issue as an NFT, TIME Magazine has previously ventured into the space through collaborations with Cool Cats, the release of past iconic covers through Superrare, and a special cover with digital artist Beeple. TIME has also enabled digital wallet integration for its website and is currently accepting Bitcoin for its subscription services.

“As TIME continues to push the boundaries as to what is possible within the web3 ecosystem, producing the first-ever full magazine on the blockchain seemed like a natural extension for our brand and we knew this issue, in particular, would be cherished by our community,” said TIME President Keith A. Grossman regarding the new release.

The Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) NFT collection announced Tuesday that it donated $1 million to the country of Ukraine’s official Ethereum wallet address.

The NFT collection’s Twitter account shared the information along with an Etherscan transaction link showing that it sent 388.999 ETH (a little over $1 million) after being inspired by its community members’ contributions.

The BAYC donation to Ukraine comes after a number of other Web3 communities—from DAOs to memecoin holders to NFT collections—announced projects and initiatives centered around contributing to Ukraine relief.
