Traders@UST is now open for Fall semester membership recruitment! If you are interested in trading and would want to learn more about financial modelling, company analysis and trading strategies, sign up for our information session to start your application!

Traders@UST is an organization that bridges the gap between students and the trading industry. We aim to provide our members with the resources to learn trading as well as the opportunities to network with professionals to gain valuable industry exposure.

In this Fall, we will organize an internal competition which will cover financial modelling, macro market analysis and trading strategies. Successful applicants will work as analysts and manage portfolios in groups. Winners will have the opportunity to engage with industry professionals in a PRIVATE networking session!

We are inviting all undergraduate students interested in trading to take part in this challenge by forming a team of 2-4 participants. Teams will be given 3 days to work on their submission. The top 5 teams will be selected to present their answers in front of a panel of esteemed judges from Flow Traders and the final 3 winners will receive some exciting prizes!

This Fall, Traders@UST will be holding sessions that predominantly focus on the Equity Investment for Cyclical and Non-Cyclical Stocks as well as Value Investing, Equity Trading, Derivative Trading, Cryptocurrency Trading, and Arbitrage Trading Strategies. You will also have the opportunity to talk to industry professionals in our networking session, and learn from them in their talks.

Our sessions are relatively academically heavy, which requires our members to have strong interest in trading and financial markets, therefore you need to pass our recruitment test to be a member of Traders@UST. Traders@UST is an organization that bridges the gap between students and the trading industry. We aim to provide our members with the resources to learn trading as well as the opportunities to network with industry professionals.

This Spring semester, we will focus on developing good financial pitches for different asset classes; namely equities, fixed income, and FX, which will be very relevant to job interviews - especially for divisions such as sales and trading and asset management.

In addition, we will also have practical sessions for derivatives trading strategies, theories and examples of growth investing and tactical asset allocation for portfolio management. You will also have the opportunity to talk to industry professionals in our networking session towards the end of the semester.

Furthermore, we will continue our student managed simulated hedge fund. Top performers will have the opportunity to join international trading competitions.
