Citi Mobile® App 將逐步推出強化人臉辨識功能,為您嘅流動理財裝置綁定提供多一重保障!
✅ 點樣保護您嘅流動理財裝置?
• 升級系統會將您嘅臉部影像同您嘅香港身份證(HKID)比對,比只輸入密碼更安全
• 結合 SMS 一次性密碼(OTP),雙重認證,防止未獲授權嘅裝置綁定
• 提升開戶同綁定新裝置效率,唔使親自到分行辦理
✅ 現有客戶請注意:
• 如果您已綁定流動理財裝置,唔需要做任何動作
• Citi Mobile® App 升級時唔會提出面部識別要求
• 只會喺您用全新裝置或重裝 Citi Mobile® App 時,先需要一次過掃描您嘅香港身份證作驗證
❌ 防騙要點:
• 我哋唔會透過電話、SMS 或電郵要求您提供面部影像或自拍
• 任何自稱銀行職員要求您進行「視像認證」都係騙徒手法
• 我哋只會喺官方應用程式Citi Mobile® App內進行身份證掃描及面部登記

【Security Upgrade: Strengthened Facial Recognition – Building Stronger Defense】
Citi Mobile® App will gradually roll out a strengthened facial recognition feature, adding an extra layer of security for device binding.
✅ How it protects your mobile device:
• Your facial image will be verified against your Hong Kong Identity Card (HKID), making it much harder to bypass than traditional passwords
• The feature combines with an SMS One-Time-Password (OTP) for two-factor authentication to prevent unauthorized device binding
• It enables faster account opening and device linking – no branch visit required
✅ For existing customers:
• No action is needed if you already have a bound device
• Upgrading the Citi Mobile® App will NOT trigger facial recognition
• This verification is only required once when using a new device or reinstalling the App – simply scan your HKID once
❌ Fraud prevention reminders:
• We will NEVER ask for your facial image or selfie via phone, SMS or email
• Any call claiming to be bank staff asking for “video verification” is a scam
• Only scan your HKID and register for facial recognition within the official Citi Mobile® App
