這四十年裏，PCGS始終以嚴格的標準守護藏家收藏，讓收藏和交易擁有客觀信用的依據。我們不斷向縱深拓寬評級服務類型，從機制幣、紙幣到現代紀念幣，再到電話卡與中國古錢幣，每一個里程碑都回應了收藏界的期待。

On February 3, 1986, PCGS began its journey in California, USA. Today, February 3, 2026, we celebrate our 40th anniversary with immense pride and passion.
Forty years ago, driven by the mission to make coin collecting safer and more enjoyable, PCGS graded and encapsulated its very first coin. Four decades later, over 60 million PCGS graded coins are in circulation worldwide. These coins do more than just exist in holders; they connect the passions of millions of collectors across the globe and serve as enduring markers of history.
Throughout these forty years, PCGS has stood as the guardian of the hobby, providing an objective and trusted foundation for collecting and trading through our rigorous standards. We have continuously expanded the horizons of our grading services—from vintage coinage and banknotes to modern commemorative coins, and further into phone cards and Chinese ancient coins. Every milestone reached has been a direct response to the aspirations of the numismatic community.
From our inception to the present day, PCGS has continued to define industry standards. We introduced the Population Report; we built CoinFacts®, the world’s most comprehensive online numismatic encyclopedia; and we established the Set Registry®, the first platform of its kind. These innovations transformed isolated data into a traceable, systematic archive, constructing a vast digital universe of trust. We launched TrueView® high-definition photography and a diverse range of special labels, capturing the intricate beauty of every coin and redefining the joy of collecting. From the West Coast to the world, we established offices in Paris, Hong Kong, and Shanghai, serving collectors across different cultures and regions with unwavering integrity and impartiality.
This forty-year chronicle is more than just the growth of PCGS—it is a legend co-authored by every collector who has walked beside us. We extend our deepest gratitude to each and every one of you for witnessing these industry-shaping moments over the past 14,600 days.
