The National Insurance Scheme (NIS) today facilitated a training session for staff of Associated Brands Guyana Inc.

The session focused on NIS contribution payments, the various types of benefits available, the payment of claims, and the proper completion of NIS forms.

The training was conducted by NIS Public Relations Officer, Mrs. Dianne Lewis-Baxter.

The National Insurance Scheme has expanded its WhatsApp Life Certificate Service, increasing the number of available lines to better serve pensioners both locally and overseas.

Through this service, pensioners can complete their Life Certificates via a WhatsApp video call with an NIS agent, removing the need for in-person visits. This upgrade will help reduce wait times and ensure the timely processing of pension payments.
