Mr. Bacchus has a multifaceted career in Finance, Management, Marketing and Training.

A Chartered Accountant by profession, Mr. Bacchus is a Fellow Member of the Association of Certified and Chartered Accountants (ACCA), member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Guyana (ICAG), a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) Guyana Chapter, and a former member of the Association of Accounting Technicians (MAAT).

In terms of practical Experience, Mr. Bacchus spent twenty- three years in financial management, operations, and marketing at the Guyana Sugar Corporation Inc rising from an office messenger to the Assistant Marketing Manager and now holds the position of Chief Financial Officer.

Experience in training:

With regards to academic training, Mr. Bacchus has designed, developed and provided finance and management training for both the business and educational sector in Guyana including governmental and nongovernmental organizations.

Additionally, he has been lecturing in both finance and management for the past twenty-five years, specifically preparing students for the Foundation in Accountancy (FIA), the Certified Accounting Technician (CAT) and the Association of Chartered and Certified Accountants (ACCA) qualifications.

Mr. Bacchus’ passion for training and his drive to ensure that students achieve the best possible tertiary professional financial education has led to the establishment of Cacique Accounting College eighteen years ago...🙂
