The legacy of a life is found not in its length, but in the love, wisdom and lasting impressions it leaves behind, and as a result some people leave this world, but their kindness, wisdom and influence remain forever in the hearts of those they touched.

With deep sadness and heavy hearts, we pay tribute to the life and lasting legacy of our esteemed Director, Dr. Ian McDonald—an exceptional leader, renowned literary voice, and true gentleman of remarkable character, whose wisdom, grace, humility and steadfast integrity made a profound contribution to our Company and to the wider nation.

Dr. McDonald’s remarkable contributions, quiet dignity and commitment to excellence left an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing and working with him.

We give thanks for a life of excellence, compassion, service and distinction, and we will forever cherish the memory of a man who exemplified grace, humility and true leadership.
