Geeconomy UoWM is the first economical group of the University of Western Macedonia that aim to bring together students who are interested in developing their knowledge and skills. It aims at the personal improvement of the members through the various activities that are carried out. Geeconomy was founded in early 2022 by a group of three ambitious students with a shared vision of successfully br
idging the gap between the academic community and the job market.The primary goal of the team is to develop hard and soft skills that are necessary for the development and specialization in the field of finance . What we do:
-Write articles on current economic issues like global economic trends, policy impacts on economies, and business opportunities.
-Provide high-quality knowledge on financial topics such as investments, taxation, money management, financial instruments, and markets.
-Offer eucational activities and opportunities, whether conducted online or in-person, for acquiring skills through courses, seminars, workshops and group assignments.
- Organize activities that facilitate interaction with businesses and professionals in the industry (company visits or career events)
-Organize events and meetings that encourage interaction among its members, as well as with professionals and representatives from various businesses.
