Greece's next tech hubs won't ask for permission.

What happens when talent, ambition, and community come together outside the traditional startup centers?

The Bank of Epirus in Ioannina highlighted something important: world-class innovation can emerge anywhere.

The most exciting outcome was not the prizes or presentations, but the evidence that talented teams are building real solutions, thinking globally, and developing products with genuine market potential.

For years, Athens has been the center of the Greek tech ecosystem.

But the future of innovation in Greece will be shaped by multiple hubs, each with its own strengths, communities, and entrepreneurial momentum.

Strong ecosystems are not built through announcements or plans. They are built when founders, students, universities, companies, and institutions take action, collaborate, and keep building.

The future of will not be written only in Athens. It will be written wherever talented people choose to stop waiting and start building.

This Pride, we took action that matters. 🌈

We hosted at the Starttech Ventures ecosystem for a talk on his book "𝐊𝐚𝐯𝐚𝐟𝐢𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐋𝐆𝐁𝐓𝐐+ 𝐑𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬", joined by colleagues from Epignosis, Yodeck and our other portfolio companies.

100+ copies of the book were distributed to our team members - because supporting the LGBTQ+ community means more than a social post.

We also heard for the first time about "𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐥 𝐊𝐚𝐯𝐚𝐟𝐢𝐬" - a truly pioneering approach to connecting LGBTQ+ rights with one of Greece's most celebrated poets.

Thank you Vasilis for accepting our invitation, and to the dozens of colleagues who showed up and engaged.
