It’s been a while since I received my Trademark Certificate for from The IP office in the Gambia. It was an honor and a proud moment to receive this significant milestone from the Register General Mr Colley. I would also like to express my sincere appreciation to the division for Africa Madam and her entire team at WIPO, as well as the Ministry of Justice and the Gambia Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI) for giving us the opportunity to participate in the pilot IP+Mentoring program for SME’s in the Gambia. Finally, I would love to greatly appreciate our able mentors , , and for your invaluable support and patience during this program, we have learned a lot from the legal aspects of IP and how to constantly protect our brand and I believe that the insightful impact of the program will guide us as we proceed in our IP journey in our respective ventures.
