AMANANO COMMUNITY BANK PLC SUPPORTS WESTERN NORTH REGIONAL EDUCATION DIRECTORATE WITH CULTURAL DRUMS & TV

At Amanano Community Bank PLC, we believe community banking goes beyond providing financial services. It is also about supporting the development of the communities we serve.

On Friday 21st August2026, the Bank presented five (5) sets of cultural drums and a 53-inch colour television to the Western North Regional Education Directorate in Bibiani.

The Bank’s delegation was led by Oheneyere Augustina Asare Osei, Board Chairperson, and Mr. Daniel Bediako, Chief Executive Officer, together with Mr. Raymond Ofosu-Atuobi, Mr. Ignatius Kwame Otoo, Mr. Nana Akwasi Osei Bonsu-Board members and Mr. Gabriel Esinam Senya, IT Manager and Mr. Dennis Osei Gyan, Head Audit, Mr. Isaac Nipa, Branch Manager and Ms. Anita Gyimah, Operations Officer at Bibiani Branch.

The donation reflects our commitment to supporting education and promoting Ghana’s rich cultural heritage and values in our schools. We believe education should not only develop the mind, but also help our young people appreciate, preserve and take pride in their cultural identity.

TRAINING ON SOUND LABOUR PRACTICE

Banking is arguably one of the most highly regulated businesses in Ghana today. The increasing complexity of modern banking operations requires employees to have a clear understanding of their duties, responsibilities and obligations towards the Bank.

Against this background, Amanano Community Bank PLC organised a one-day training programme on Sound Labour Practices for its staff to deepen their understanding of labour-related issues, workplace responsibilities and sound employment practices.

The training was facilitated by Counsel Eric Daning, who provided valuable insights and practical guidance on key labour and workplace issues.

AMANANO COMMUNITY BANK PLC CONSTRUCTS MODERN TOILET FACILITY FOR NYINAHIN CATHOLIC SHS

Sanitation, hygiene and dignity of these young girls are paramount to us as a Bank.

It is on this basis the Bank decided to construct a befitting and modern toilet facility as our contribution towards creating a safe, healthy and conducive learning environment for the students.

This afternoon, the Board and Management of Amanano Community Bank PLC officially handed over a 12-unit modern water-closet toilet facility to the Management and students of Nyinahin Catholic Senior High School, Nyinahin.

The Bank’s delegation was led by Oheneyere Augustina Asare Osei, Board Chairperson, and Mr. Daniel Bediako, Chief Executive Officer. Other Board members present were Mr. Raymond Ofosu-Atuobi, Mr. Ignatius Kwame Otoo, and Nana Akwasi Osei Bonsu, Board Secretary.

The previous toilet facility was in a deplorable condition and posed serious concerns for the safety, sanitation and dignity of the students. We therefore considered it necessary to intervene by providing a modern and befitting facility.

We believe that education goes beyond the classroom. When students have access to proper sanitation and hygiene facilities, it protects their health, enhances their dignity and overall well-being, and enables them to concentrate better on their education.

As a community bank, we see ourselves not only as a financial institution, but also as a development partner to the communities we serve.

This project represents our commitment to supporting the school, promoting the well-being of its students and contributing meaningfully to the advancement of girls’ education.

When we invest in the education, health and dignity of our young girls, we are not simply building a toilet facility. We are helping to build confidence, create opportunities and secure a better future for our communities and our country.
