Geo-Heads Ghana Geo-Heads Ghana is an Organization in Ghana that uses Geographic Information Systems to solve Community Problems.

Geo-Heads Ghana is a youth led organization that seeks to identify and solve African Community Problems through the use of Geographic Information Systems (GIS). VISION
To become the pivot for solving geospatial related problems in Ghana and beyond by the year 2020. PROGRAM GOALS
A Community in which GIS is recognized as a tool for national development
A Community in which young people are actively

engaged towards its development
A Community that seek to integrate young people in their developmental agenda
A Community in which young people are provided a platform to contribute their quota to development as it also seeks to nurture their potentials. HOW WE FUNCTION
Geo-Heads has the Board of Directors as the highest decision-making authority including policy direction, vision and strategy. The Management Team comprises of an Executive Director, Head of Directorates: Finance and Administration, Projects and Programs, Geospatial Analysis, Tools and Mapping and Communications and Research, who lead the daily running of the organization based on the direction of the Board of Directors. Staff members and Volunteers perform task assigned by the Management Team in pursuance of achieving set objectives. PROGRAM AREAS

Our mission as an organisation is to:
1. To create the awareness of GIS and Remote Sensing by demonstrating the use of traditional and new innovative technologies through education and outreach by Geo-Heads members in Ghana.
2. To serve as a crossroad to expediting the recognition of geospatial information communication; geospatial data sharing across and between the levels of government, businesses, non-profit organizations and academic circles Ghana.
3. To collect and use geospatial data to solve geospatial related problems identified in Ghana.
