Ghana Export–Import Bank was proud to deliver the Opening Keynote at the Maritime Trade Fair 2026 in Accra, under the theme: “Shaping Africa’s Maritime Future: Maritime, Technology and Finance.”

In his remarks, the Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Banking, Moses Klu Mensah emphasised the critical role of finance, technology and coordinated systems in unlocking Africa’s maritime potential and driving export-led growth.

He highlighted the need to:
• Strengthen financing across the entire trade value chain
• Align regulation, infrastructure and capital for competitiveness
• Leverage technology to improve efficiency and transparency
• Position Ghana and Africa for sustainable maritime investment toward 2030
