A growing life assurance company is seeking to recruit a suitable candidate to fill the vacancy below.
Position: Actuarial & AML Officer
Reporting to: Chief Finance Officer

Skills and Competencies:
 Bachelor’s Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics & Statistics
 Professional passes in Actuarial Science
 Minimum of two years relevant experience.
 Must be a member of a professional body, SOA, IFoA, CIA.
 Strong experience with numeric based systems.
 Demonstrate the ability to work with internal and external partners.
 General knowledge in business and finance.
 Possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
 Excellent interpersonal skills.
 Ability to identify and analyze organizational needs.

Job Description
o Work with the company Actuary to meet regulatory requirements, other business
needs and the achievement of business objectives.
- Preparation of data for valuation and analysis of reserves.
- Preparation of requirements and inputs for annual Financial Condition
Reporting.
o Analysing data and communicating results in the form of management information.
o Providing recommendations and solutions to business problems, by using actuarial
systems, company systems or manual methods as necessary.
o Conducting experience investigations and reporting on the results to be used in
assumptions setting for reserving and valuations.

o Providing solutions for the identification of suitable and improved systems and
procedures to support the actuarial function to meet business needs.
o Responsible for any other emerging regulatory requirements and business needs.
o Support management to meet anti-money laundering compliance requirements.
