The transformation has began.
On Tuesday, our team led by principals Nana Akua Birmeh and Agnes Ofosu-Appiah, was locked down in an all day 'retreat' for an intense and exciting session with our awesome BTA Kweku Fleming and Thierry Vodounou, MBA, PMP as part of our Stanford Seed program.
We were privileged to host this session in CHRIST TEMPLE EAST, our largest project thus far and also arguably the largest single venue in Ghana, with capacity to host a crowd of 7000+ at a time. The seletion of this venue for our session was not only symbolic to the transformational journey, but also an ode to our foundation in the Christian faith as an organisation. A big thank you to the leadership of the church for this opportunity especially our dear Pastor Mensa Otabil.

In Copenhagen right now is the largest gathering of architects from several nations across the world.
A 3 woman delegation from our office are attending as part of the over 30 architects representing Ghana under the Ghana Institute of Architects umbrella.

For us it's an opportunity to

- experience an architect world capital city - Copenhegan . A city renowned for sensitive exquisite design and reimagine what Accra could be if given the chance.

- Meet and dialogue with world renowned architects ( of course we are star struck ) on current trends and cutting edge ideas. This not only keeps our office sharp and on point but also allows us to measure how well we are doing.

- And finally reconnect with other architects . It's all love when current staff meet with old staff. The sisterly love is deep. In this AX family once a Xenusite always a Xenusite. 😘 @

So we did a thing we looove. The devil is in the detail they say. But in ArchXenus the meaning is in the detail.

Background:
Client M had just been promoted and required a sprucing of her new office.
Our 1st meeting was repeatedly interrupted with numerous well wishers coming in with congratulatory flowers , prayers and messages.
For us this translated to love of the staff for our client and the general feeling that her staff wanted her to succeed.

Ex*****on:
We sought to make a simple request match or exceed the monumental event ( the promotion) .
Our solution had 3 major components of meaning:

💡 celebrate the place where she, the well meaning staff and others will meet to solve problems and make difficult decisions. - meeting table

💡 preserve the feeling and intention of the day so it can be a source of inspiration and a reminder in days of doubt ,of how much confidence has been placed in her. - dried up flowers frozen in resin

💡 remind her how she got to her new position and urge her to keep the same winning formula- engraved message in the rim

As a result Our client is ecstatic with this unexpected yet meaningful furniture that is the feature of the space.
