ENTERPRISE EMPOWERMENT FOUNDATION
(EEF)
Introduction
Enterprise Empowerment Foundation (EeF) is another new innovation born out of government’s quest to reduce unemployment through job creation. The organization has its focus on changing the mindset of the youth, and more importantly, to see themselves as business owners and entrepreneurs rather than looking up to government for employment opportunities. It also offers employment opportunities and career advisory services.
This we hope to achieve through a wide network with key businesses from the private sector as well as our partnership development with government ministries, departments and agencies as well as overseas partners. Starting 2020 we hope to outline a number of programmes and events such conferences, leadership training, business seminars and workshops as well as outreach programmes including sports, counseling and entertainment as part of effort to deepened relationship and business among young entrepreneurs and civil society.

AIM
Our aim is to empower the youth as well as young business owners through enterprise base activities and consultancy to become masters of the destiny. In other words, the foundation seeks to encourage more and more young people to become innovators and business creators rather than simply job seekers.
As part of our activities, we hope to bring together a whole community of youth professionals alongside student groups and representatives from the various tertiary institutions, trade union representative, educationalists, government representative as well as members from the diaspora community. Core activities shall include deliberating on issues such as creating awareness and interest in free-market entrepreneurship as a career option amongst young people. Organizing programmes and events where participants get to learn about the importance and means of creating capital ownership and wealth within their community.
Finally, the organization seeks to be a dynamic and major player in government quest to create a vibrant private sector with the youth development as it focus.
