Yesterday in Accra, it was a pleasure to facilitate key stakeholders at the Ghana Dried Fruits Project workshop to discuss strategies for strengthening the value chain.
The workshop titled "Export Demand for Processed Fruits and Raw Material Supply" provided a platform for stakeholders to strategise on Ghana's Raw Material supply chain for fruits that feed into processing lines to meet the burgeoning EU/high-end market demand.
Funded by the Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs through CBI and coordinated locally by Knox Consulting Limited, the project focuses on building a sustainable, inclusive sector that creates opportunities for youth while meeting global export standards.
In attendance were Fruit processors, exporters and producers across the country,
the CBI Program Manager, Femke Dekker, the MoFA-DCS Dep. Director, Esther Agyekum, a SPEG Official, Sampson Ameyaw & the GEPA Dep CEO, Raymond Kramer.
Exciting times ahead for Ghanaβs growing agri-export industry! π¬ππ
