Free SHS and matters arising.

Free SHS is one of the best policies in Ghana's political History.

However, the inability of the previous regime to accept divergent views on its implementation has created all these needless cacophony about the policy.

Again, there's a need to fine tune it going forward to address the myriads of challenges confronting the implementation of the policy.

Also, there is a need for us to honestly allow all stakeholders to bring in their unbiased views and opinions for the policy makers to make all the needed and necessary amendments.

Moreover, cancelling the policy will be politically suicidal and economically unwise, and it's consequences could be dire.

FUNDING FREE SHS should be seen as a human right issue because the cost of illiteracy to the economy is higher than any amount that shall spend on Free SHS.

How Desire for Happiness affects our finances

Every rational human being desire to be happy irrespective of his/her age and status in life.

However, instead of pursuing things that guarantee us life long happiness we Rather indulge in things that give us temporary pleasures.

Alcoholism, Drugs, s*x, debauchery, promiscuity will always give temporary pleasures and these things easily enslave us to desire more.

Also, Since we become addicted to these pleasures as a result repeated indulgence we are always compelled to look for money to satisfy them.

Morever, satisfy these pleasures on Daily requires hundreds if not thousands of Ghana cedis to do so. It may also results in health complications that requires money to treat or manage.

That's why most of us are always broke because the desire to satisfy these pleasures in the name of seeking happiness has become a serious drain on our finances.

Interestingly, the pursuit of these pleasures end up in mirage.

Way forward

The only way to be happy in Life and enjoy a life long life of happiness is to pursue a worthy course that creates value for us, our family and the society.

Therefore, as a human beings who are seeking happiness in life let's pick a worthy cause( serving people with our knowledge & skills, creating business, seeking to solve pressing problems in the society, etc.).

Seek and pursue these things irrespective of your age & status and the society shall reward you financially and you shall be happy for the rest of your life.
