A reminder for Guernsey employers: Q3 ETI and Social Security returns and payments are due by 15 October 2026.

Before submitting, check that you have correctly recorded:

- Employee earnings
- Tax deductions
- Social Security contributions
- New starters and leavers
- Bonuses, overtime and other payments
- Any changes to employee information

Tax-related scams can appear particularly convincing around filing and payment deadlines.

A message may claim that you’re owed a refund, have an outstanding payment or need to take urgent action to avoid a penalty. ⛔

Don’t use the contact details or links included in a suspicious message. Instead, access the relevant authority’s website independently or contact your adviser using details you already trust.

The deadline for submitting Guernsey 2025 personal and company tax returns is 30 November 2026. Although there is still time, starting now allows you to gather any missing information and resolve questions before the deadline approaches!

Leaving everything until November can create unnecessary pressure, particularly if paperwork is missing or your bookkeeping isn’t up to date.
