Since its founding in 2012, this company has come a long way, striving to revolutionize the financial and banking system with its unique technologies. However, in recent years, it has faced ongoing legal difficulties, including litigation with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
What is the name of the company?
Most of you have again given the correct answer, and we will complicate the questions every week.
Correct answer:
✔️The company is called "Ripple"
▶️The lawsuit between Ripple and the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has been going on for 2.5 years! At the end of December 2020, the regulator sued Ripple, its co-founder Chris Larsen and CEO Brad Garlinghouse, accusing them of raising more than $1.3 billion by selling unregistered valuable papers under the guise of XRP tokens.
If Ripple is found guilty of selling unregistered so called securities, it would be a huge blow to the US cryptocurrency market. Moreover, all other altcoins, including Ethereum, will be classified as securities and will have to be registered in SEC.
